It’s high in potassium and vitamin B6 from the banana and rich in antioxidants from the blueberry and raw cocoa. And most importantly, it’s made with one of the world’s most superior plant sources of protein: hemp.
Hemp seeds (which come from the same plant as marijuana, although the seeds contain virtually no THC) are a “complete” protein, meaning they contain all essential amino acids. They are packed with nutrients, fibre, omega-3s and contain high levels of the “branched-chain amino acids”, which help with muscle repair and growth. Banana Hemp Protein Shake
1 scoop natural whey protein powder, vanilla
1 Tbsp organic hemp seed protein powder
1/2 small frozen banana
2 Tbsp organic blueberry yogurt*
1 tsp raw organic cocoa powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 ice cubes
1/2 cup water
Place all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
*you can use any yogurt you like, plain or flavoured.
